Questions
everything worth asking first
What is The Board?
A personal ops log for everything you are chasing at once — internships, job applications, certifications, achievements, government exams, startup opportunities and projects. One list, one place, instead of seven browser tabs and a notes app.
Who can see what I log?
Only you. Every row is tied to your account and protected by row-level security in the database, so one account can never read another account’s entries. The one exception is the project owner, who can read the database directly — the same as with any app you do not host yourself.
What happens when an application deadline is close?
Anything due within three days — or already overdue — turns red on your board, picks up an alert tag, and lights a glowing marker beside the bin. You do not have to go looking for it.
I deleted something by accident. Is it gone?
No. Deleted entries sit in the bin for ten days and can be restored in one click, exactly as they were. After ten days they are removed for good.
Can I hide the sections I do not use?
Yes. Settings → Board lets you archive any section. Nothing is deleted — unarchive whenever you like and every entry comes back.
Can I put the rows in my own order?
Yes. The arrows button next to the search box switches on custom order and gives each row a drag handle. Turn it off and the automatic soonest-deadline-first order returns; your arrangement is remembered either way.
Is there a light theme?
Light, dark, or follow-your-device — Settings → Look. It is remembered on the device you set it on.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account. It removes your login and every entry, bin item and setting attached to it. There is no backup and it cannot be undone, so it asks you to type DELETE first.
Do I need a phone number to sign up?
No. Name, email and a password are all that is required. The phone field is optional and you can leave it blank.
